Mariana and Marco share the sweetest chemistry. They’re a young couple who radiate love, hope, and joy. It was so easy to photograph them because they are simply so in love. For this shoot, we were inspired by The Notebook, specifically that scene where Noah and Allie rekindle their love on a canoe. Ahh sigh! Our friends, Eva Willet and Regina Martinez, helped with styling Mariana’s hair and doing her makeup. Mariana found this cute little romper in Forever 21, but what really tied all of this together is their genuine love and passion that resonates throughout these images. We shot these in Virginia Key in Key Biscayne, Florida. And we shot these all in film! We left behind our digital camera that day and we’re so happy we did. These were all shot in Fujifilm 400H on 35mm film using a Canon 1V. Our friends at Negative Lab (www.negativelab.co) processed these images. We cannot rave enough about them.
